I took a lot of pictures, but there are not a lot posted here. Crazy evening - shooting Pete's athletes for him. Shooting my students who run track for North Central University and, of course, shooting my GOPHERS! Missed some events - apologies to those of you that I missed. I will try to capture you at Iowa or Big Tens.

Day looked good, but man, it was windy and that made it feel pretty cold. In addition to which I got a parking ticket. Rats. I parked in an area that did not have the sign restricting it to permit only. BUT...I must have missed the sign or it was missing because I got hit with a ticket. Ah well, glad I am not a struggling student. I guess St. Paul needs the money. I wonder how many other fans got ticketed.
Other than that, it was a great day. Great races, jumps, throws, etc. Great coaching and officiating, too.

I should just copy this message and paste it from the first indoor meet to the first outdoor meet because it seems like I say this a lot. Sorry if I miss you when you are competing in something outside of Maroon and Gold colors. I just don't recognize everyone or know all of your names. It helps a lot when I see some gopher emblem on you but sometimes that is at the end of the race. So - sorry I know I missed a lot of you. If you really, really want a picture, you need to find me and let me know when you are competing. I will try to make it. Thanks - Mama Miller
