Big Ten Outdoor Championship 2011 Iowa State University
Well, I think this was the wettest Big Ten Outdoor Championship of my experience.Happily the sun did come out Sunday afternoon to warm us up and encourage the fans to stay in the stands for the end.And WHAT AN ENDING…going into the 4X4 with only .5 point difference between first and second place in the men’s competition.This took some of the excitement out of the women’s 4X4 where our Minnesota women performed spectacularly.But, it kept the local fans in the stands.And…well…I do hate to miss out on that first place finish, but I was happy for Iowa.They earned it and they waited a very long time to get there.
